An Evening Where Fashion Meets the Table The Wandering Table | Saturday May 9, 2026
Some evenings begin before the first course is ever served.
On May 9th, The Wandering Table partners with one of Idaho’s most legendary creative minds — designer, adventurer, and conservationist Robert Comstock — for a night that moves from runway to table, from spectacle to savor.
The evening opens with an exclusive pre-dinner fashion show featuring Robert Comstock’s signature collection: garments born from decades of global expedition, ethically sourced from Italy’s finest mills and tanneries, and personally hand-signed and numbered by Robert himself. These are not simply clothes — they are wearable stories, each one carrying the spirit of the Arctic tundra, the Mongolian steppe, the Amazon basin, and the wilds of eastern Idaho where Robert grew up as a fifth-generation Idahoan.
Robert launched his label in 1976 out of his parents’ garage in Pocatello, shipping his first leather jackets in reclaimed boxes. By 1989, he had taken 5th Avenue by storm — winning the prestigious Coty Award for outerwear, landing on the floors of Bergdorf Goodman, and earning recognition alongside Ralph Lauren as one of the top designers in American menswear. His design philosophy can be captured in four words: explore, discover, experience, share. The same four words, it turns out, that guide every Wandering Table dinner.
After the show, guests will move to the table for a seven-course dinner crafted by Gina D’Orazio Stryker — a menu inspired by the same thread that runs through Robert’s work: the belief that the most beautiful things come from places of deep intention, honest craft, and a reverence for where things come from.
This is an evening for collectors of experiences. For those who understand that art doesn’t stop at the edge of a canvas — or a runway.
Seating is extremely limited. Reserve your place at the table.
